Workshops.

Ponda Workshop

Our Team comprising of Venkatesh Dempo, Shounak Hede and Dhruv Desai (VSD) conducted a workshop on “Explore the World of Robotics” for 12 students on 14th December 2022 at 3:30 pm in Ponda. We conducted this workshop in a school called as Vidhya Vruddhi school. The workshop was conducted to raise funds for a competition called FTC (First Tech Challenge). A competition for students between grades 7-12. We registered 12 students of age group 7 to 13 years charging them Rs 500 per head. In the workshop we thought them how to build a basic robot using Lego Mindstorms Ev3. We also thought them the basics of coding using a software called Ev3 classroom. We first introduced ourselves and informed them about the FTC competition as a part of an outreach activity. We explained them the benefits of learning robotics. We taught them how to give commands to the robots and make them perform specific tasks. The students as well as the teachers were keen in learning and exploring new things. There were also activities and challenges for the students to solve. We collected Rs 6,000/- in total. The participants for the workshop were-

Vasco Workshop

Our Team comprising of Venkatesh Dempo, Shounak Hede and Dhruv Desai (VSD) conducted a workshop on “Explore the World of Robotics” for 12 students on 19th December 2022 at 3:30 pm in Vasco. The workshop was conducted to raise funds for a competition called FTC (First Tech Challenge). A competition for students between grades 7-12. We registered 12 students of age group 7 to 13 years charging them Rs 500 per head. We also received a spot entry. The spot entry consisted of 26 year old who was really enthusiastic to learn about coding. In the workshop we thought them how to build a basic robot using Lego Mindstorms Ev3. We also thought them the basics of coding using a software called Ev3 classroom. We first introduced ourselves and informed them about the FTC competition as a part of an outreach activity. We explained them the benefits of learning robotics. We taught them how to give commands to the robots and make them perform specific tasks. Mapusa Workshop

Our Team comprising of Venkatesh Dempo, Shounak Hede and Dhruv Desai (VSD) conducted a workshop on “Explore the World of Robotics” for 15 students on 22nd December 2022 at 3:30 pm in Mapusa. We registered 15 students of age as we had got an overwhelming response for our workshops and the parents insisted us to take more students. The workshop was conducted to raise funds for a competition called FTC (First Tech Challenge). A competition for students between grades 7-12. We registered 15 students of age group 7 to 13 years charging them Rs 500 per head. In the workshop we thought them how to build a basic robot using Lego Mindstorms Ev3. We also thought them the basics of coding using a software called Ev3 classroom. We first introduced ourselves and informed them about the FTC competition as a part of an outreach activity.
